I've noticed for the last few years that my eyebrows have gotten 'wiry'.
I thought if hair conditioner works on the hair on my head, surely it will work on my eyebrows. I started to apply some about 2 weeks ago letting it 'sit' for about 5-10 minutes before my shower. It took a few days before I noticed a difference but I can definitely see and feel that they don't look wiry and feel softer. I will continue to condition by brows. I also have to trim them once a week, as they grow straight up which I HATE. If you decide to try this, just be careful you don't let the conditioner run into your eyes!

I'm in the same boat. Thinking of using hair remover because trimming just makes them coarser and grow faster. Maybe with topical hair remover they'll grow back softer.
ReplyDeleteWowwww.... Is this what menopause is about?? My eyebrows are black and wiry... I really don't like it.. .what else happens?
ReplyDeleteI'm 48.5 yrs old. Period is still coming every month; mood swings are terrible. oye!
Menopause causes many changes in a woman's body. Everyone is different. My eyebrows were always 'full' but soft. As I entered the menopause stage though, I noticed my eyebrows were thinning out and getting very wiry. Some grew longer than others and I'm always trimming them. Hair conditioner has helped me, but I have to use it every day.
ReplyDeleteMy eyebrows have almost thinned to nothingness! But.........what is there is wiry. YUK! I am post menopause, but the changes just keep coming.
